EAGER HUSKIES READY FOR ACTION!

Tamok valley is situated in Norwegian Lapland, in proximity to the Lyngenalps, about an hour’s drive from Tromsø. Thousand meter high mountains fall vertically into the deep fjords in this area, marking the border to where the enormous Lapland tundra begins. A dramatic landscape unlike any other in Europe!

Drive your own dog sled on a 15 km trail through the white and wild Arctic landscapes. You drive in pairs with one driver and one passenger on each sled, switching places half way. The trail starts and ends at the wilderness centre Camp Tamok.

After the ride enjoy a hot meal by the fire place in one of the camp’s lavvus (Sami herdsmen tent).
